Frequently Asked Questions
Here are common questions asked about Seasons•4 and its custom HVAC systems:
- Are curb adapters required?
No. Since we carefully measure everything for replacement installations, we can match your curb closely enough so that everything fits without adapters or extra work.
- How long will it take to replace a unit?
Typically, it takes eight hours or less from the time the unit arrives on site until it is operational. Seasons 4 works with you, using our proven system, to make sure everything needed for a successful installation is in place.
- Do you need a desiccant system to maintain a 40-degree dewpoint?
Contrary to popular belief, no. Seasons 4 systems can be designed to provide a 40-degree dewpoint without using desiccant. (We provide desiccant systems also). This can often significantly reduce costs. We can show you the pros and cons of both desiccant and conventional systems, and work with you to select the one that best fits your needs.
- How long have you been in business?
Since 1971. We have installed thousands of systems in locations all over the world. We keep growing, and we keep building our reputation for providing exceptional quality HVAC systems.
- Do you have a rep in my area?
We have local representatives in many areas, and we cover other areas with factory staff. So no matter where you are, we can provide you with quality service.
- Why should I get a custom HVAC system?
There are a lot of reasons why custom HVAC systems can be advantageous. First, in retrofit installations, custom systems can be designed to provide better ventilation or more efficiency. They are literally tailored to your application. In school installations, for example, new guidelines call for three times the ventilation recommended for older HVAC systems. A custom system from Seasons 4 can provide this. For supermarkets, a custom system can manage humidity properly to greatly reduce costs for refrigeration. In virtually any installation, a custom system can offer advantages. Contact us, and we'll show you what we can do for your project.
