Energy Recovery Systems Energy recovery is another approach to humidity
control that uses energy from one source to provide energy for
other work in the same system. Through the use of subcooling
(reducing refrigerant temperature in the liquid line below saturated
temperature), energy is recovered and as much as 15 to 20% additional
capacity is added to the evaporator. The energy required for this is taken from
the leaving air of the evaporator coil and, depending on the
airflow the coil handles, results in a 7-10 degree temperature
rise. The result of this is that more capacity is gained
in the liquid subcooling phase than is lost in the air reheating. The
energy savings can be seen in the fact that the compressor KW
does not change. The result is a remarkably efficient system. Like
all Seasons•4 systems, it offers:
- Independent return air circuit parallel
to outdoor air circuit treats sensible load requirements
of space, giving your system built-in flexibility
- Motorized outdoor air with cost-efficient
night-bypass damper
- Manual balance dampers in outdoor
and return air plenum for easy, fast fine tuning
- Heat reclaim coils use waste heat
derived from your refrigeration system to offset requirements
for comfort zone heating
- Auxiliary heat section is specifically
designed for your location’s requirements
- Low velocity pleated, long-lasting
air filters
- Backward inclined airfoil blade blowers
for high-efficiency operation
- Premium efficiency 4-pole motors
(exceeds EPAC requirements)
- Single point power connection for
easy installation
- Spacious cabinet design with full
height access doors, with single handle, multiple point
latches, for easy access and maintenance
- Oversized condenser coils designed
for higher efficiency and energy savings
- Factory mounted 24-volt controls
are compatible to the computer hardware of your choice.
Your control system matches your specifications exactly.
