Make-Up Air
The Seasons•4 Make-Up Air System is another
sound approach to humidity control. This system uses multiple
compressors staged to provide the dehumidification requirements.
The system concept is to reduce the moisture introduced in the
outdoor air to the lowest possible level. Because the outdoor
conditions vary greatly throughout the day, the multiple compressors
used are better able to meet this load variance efficiently.
Outdoor air accounts for 100% of the load requirements.
This type of system is very effective in supermarkets that
use multi-deck open frozen food display cases. Case credits
for this type of case are higher than other types and will provide
most of the space sensible load. Units are furnished with return
air cooling coils in order to make up any load requirements
that the outside air coils do not.
