To provide the designer with a very simple solution to this
problem, Seasons•4 builds a Single-Path unit with a sized evaporator
air bypass. The unit design is such that bypass placement and
multiple compressors with independent evaporator control provides
the store designer with good dehumidifying capability and allows
the unit to operate at up to 1000 cfm/ton ratios. Conventional
control strategies may be used with a simple dehumidification
override for store control.
